Timothy Loh
Founder & Managing Principal

Mr. Loh founded the firm in 2004 and has served as its Managing Principal since that time. During his tenure, the firm has achieved global recognition in banking, investment funds and financial services regulatory work. He has been rated by Chambers and Partners as one of the leading lawyers in Financial Services Regulatory matters and by the Asialaw Leading Lawyers Survey as one of the most highly recommended practitioners in Capital Markets & Corporate Finance and in Regulatory & Government matters. His clients have included many of the world's most recognized asset managers, banks and insurance companies.  He is a member of the Securities Law Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong, which comments on legal and regulatory initiatives. He has spoken widely on the legal and regulatory issues affecting the financial markets and financial services, including before the Legislative Council of the Government of Hong Kong.

He graduated at age 22 with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall School of Law and is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. He is fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese).

Gavin Cumming
Managing Associate

Mr. Cumming joined the firm in 2005. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Nottingham Law School in 2001 and 2002 respectively. He is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. He is fluent in English.
