Seminar: SFC Enforcement Action Against Listed Companies

The SFC has prioritized enforcement action against listed companies and their directors for malfeasance, seeking to combat corporate fraud, misleading financial statements, serious conflicts of interest and failures to disclose inside information. Much of the SFC action focuses on directors and other officers of listed companies. Some of the cases involve directors improperly deferring to controlling shareholders. Others involve non-executive directors failing to serve as a proper check and balance on executive directors. Still others involve directors who, collectively, do not have adequate controls to escalate and disclose inside information on a timely basis.

Join us for this lunch time seminar as a distinguished panel of speakers discusses the law governing the handling of price sensitive information and how directors can manage such information to comply with regulatory requirements.
