Overview

We have significant experience representing clients in employment related disputes, managing both liability arising under the employment contract and the Employment Ordinance as well as, in the case of an employer which is regulated, potential criminal or civil liability arising from a breach of any applicable laws and regulations governing the conduct of that employer.

We represent both senior executives as well as their employers and have particular experience in disputes between regulated financial institutions and their employees. In this latter regard, because of our broad and deep ranging financial services practice, we bring 2 distinct advantages to our clients:

  • First, we have a high degree of proficiency in the full range of laws and regulations which govern the activities of both employers and employees in the finance industry. As a result, we are able to advise on regulatory considerations which may impact employment decisions.
