Circular to Licensed Corporations Engaged in Asset and Wealth Management Activities - Asset and Wealth Management Activities Survey 2025

On February 11, 2026, the Securities and Futures Commission ("SFC") initiated the Asset and Wealth Management Activities Survey 2025 ("AWMAS"), a biennial initiative to gather information on the asset and wealth management activities in Hong Kong.

The survey aims to facilitate regulatory and market activities, and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the state of the asset and wealth management industry within the jurisdiction.

The SFC invites continued collaboration from licensed corporations and encourages their participation by completing the questionnaire online by April 22, 2026.

For licensed corporations actively involved in asset management, providing advice on funds/portfolios, and/or private banking and wealth management in 2025, completing the full questionnaire is mandatory.

Entities not engaged in the aforementioned activities throughout 2025 need only complete the General Information section.

The questionnaire is accessible at https://wings.sfc.hk/awmas/#/en/. Please refer to important notes on the front page after selecting your firm type and consult the definitions in the ‘Note’ section.

All data provided will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except in aggregated statistical form.
